Role of the Nurse - This 30-minute training serves as a follow-up to the training on basic concepts of advance care planning, specifically focusing on the role of the nurse. It identifies advance care planning competencies and assists the nurse in understanding his/her responsibilities in such areas as identifying patients need for medical information, providing basic information on advance care planning, advocating for the patient's expressed wishes, and making referrals.
